It comes with a unique defect referred to as a peaberry, a rare variety we don’t always get to offer!
What’s a peaberry?
When a coffee cherry matures with only one single seed, that one seed tends to absorb more nutrients and sugar than if there were two. As a result, the peaberry variant tends to have a slightly different profile. They’re just a tad more intense and a tad more sweet.
