To celebrate Colectivo's 20th anniversary and announcement of our new name, we commissioned one of our favorite artists, Jean's Clay Studio, to create 500 hand crafted coffee mugs. Using Colectivo's 'sugar skull' design, Jean created the mugs with four different base colors: black, red, blue and white. All mugs were made exclusively by Jean on the pottery wheel and decorated with a carving technique called 'sgraffito'. Each one-of-a-kind piece is individually crafted, carved and painted using a variety of color patterns, resulting in a coffee mug that carries within it a unique spirit.
