Our Andersonville cafe is housed in a historic Clark Street storefront in one of Chicago’s most eclectic neighborhoods, known for its Swedish roots as well as being home to one of the city’s largest LGBTQ+ communities. Every year in early June, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce puts on a beloved street festival that celebrates this close-knit community with a 3-day party and the unofficial start of summer in Chicago. This year's in-person event has been postponed, but organizers have found a new way to celebrate - Andersonville @ Home, a Virtual Midsommarfest Experience happening June 12! To show our support for this virtual event and the ACC, Colectivo Andersonville is giving away a free limited edition t-shirt with any purchase of $20 or more starting June 11, 2020, while supplies last. This vibrant blue and yellow shirt shows off our FIKA design, a nod to the traditional Swedish coffee break and colors of the Swedish flag. To take advantage, just let a member of our staff know your preferred t-shirt size when you pick up your order. Happy Midsommarfest, everyone!
