New Look, Who Dis?

New Look, Who Dis?

Hello Colectivo, coffee, and tea fans alike!

We’re starting 2024 off with a HUGE overhaul of the Colectivo aesthetic you all know and love.

New Aesthetic, Same Coffee

Kevin Callahan, Senior Graphic Designer celebrates 25 years with Colectivo Coffee Roasters this January. He designed all the bags you’ve seen in the past and the new ones you’ll see starting today.

A project in the making for more than two years is finally coming to fruition and we’re so excited to be able to share it with you. Classic icons that you’re used to seeing resemble the previous design but are still distinct from what they were.

New Coffee Bags

The designs aren’t the only things that have changed. We’ve made the change to a new bag, with an exciting resealable zipper for the utmost convenience and keeping your coffee fresh. These bags are also a step towards a greener future, as they are made from post consumer recycled materials—overall, we are using much less material now than we were before. Yay green!

12oz Bags

To keep things consistent, 12oz bags are the new standard. We are making the change to 12oz bags (don’t worry, 2lb for select coffees and 5lb bags are still available on the webstore and in select cafes).

Making Room
We’ve made some changes to our year-round offerings. Some coffees went away for good, some coffees are now available seasonally. We are holding ourselves to our roasting philosophy and want to make sure everything we roast is at its absolute best. We can’t wait to share new and exciting coffee offerings with you in the near future.

Each of these coffees will be retired in the 12oz format as of January 24, 2024: Guatemala Quetzal, Mexico Kulaktik, Maximillian, Decaf Colombia, Session Cold Brew Blend, and Peacemaker.

We know it’s hard seeing your favorites go away! For all of your 12oz needs, our Coffee Department has selected blends from our continuing lineup that we'd love to share with you.

Below you will find the recommendations that we feel will best complement the flavor profile of the coffees you've been receiving:
If you've been having Guatemala Quetzal, Mexico Kulatik, or our Session Cold Brewwe recommend you to try our Revel blend—vibrant and juicy with notes of peach, vanilla, and ginger.

If you've been enjoying Maximillian, consider our Co-optiva—Bold and balanced with notes of nectarine and caramel.

Been drinking Decaf Colombia? Try our Decaf Dream Harder instead—Balanced and sweet with notes of citrus and spice.

Peacemaker fans! We invite you to try our Toro Espresso—A perfect espresso blend of dark chocolate, orange peel, with a bittersweet finish.
