This offering comes from Kenya's Kiambu region, where its temperate climate, abundant rainfall and high elevations let the coffee cherries mature and develop.
This lot is made up of coffee from small-scale farmers who deliver their freshly harvested cherries to their nearest washing stations for processing. During peak harvest season, cuppers taste and evaluate up to nearly 1,000 coffees per week!
Expect notes of plum, black tea and brown sugar.
