Throughout the month of June 2017, Colectivo's Wisconsin cafes will accept donations all types of used and unwanted eyeglasses - reading, distance vision glasses, and cases. Donations will be labeled by Bronze Optical to benefit those in need of basic vision correction. Free screenings and match glasses will be provided to homeless individuals and victims of domestic abuse and their children, enabling them to see and carry out basic daily tasks more easily.This project is run by medical students at the Medical College of Wisconsin through the Homeless Outreach and Medical Education (HOME) Project and Urban and Community Health Scholarly Pathway. Please look for the collection boxes in our cafes throughout the month of June!
